Our Story…

In 2016, after five years of research and prototyping, Scott and Christina Sterling founded Lea Bass Guitars with a singular purpose in mind - creating high quality instruments that stay true to their guiding design principle: To build basses that prioritize tone, feel, and balance.

Scott is responsible for building the basses, and Christina (middle name Lea, pronounced “Lee”) handles aesthetic design and administrative duties. Their four-legged employee, Charlie, is responsible for barking and sniffing stuff.
