Our Story…

Scott retired from a career as a Navy helicopter pilot in 2012. In his final two years in the Navy, Scott discovered his passion for building basses and guitars. In 2016, after five years of research and prototyping, Scott and Christina founded Lea Bass Guitars with a singular purpose in mind - creating high quality instruments that stay true to their guiding design principle: To build basses that prioritize tone, feel, and balance.

Scott is responsible for building the basses, and Christina (middle name Lea, pronounced “Lee”) handles aesthetic design and administrative duties. Their four-legged employee, Charlie, is responsible for barking and sniffing stuff.
