Lea Basses are completely hand-built in the USA and include as standard:

  • Premium hardwood body top with matching headstock cap

  • Premium hardwood body core

  • Two layers included (top and body)

  • Multi-lamination taper core quartersawn neck assemblies

  • Hand cut unbleached bone nut or Tusq graphite nut

  • Two-way truss rod

  • Two carbon fiber reinforcement rods on all 5, 6, and 7 string necks

  • 12″ to 18″ compound radius

  • 24 fret fingerboard w/ abalone or mother of pearl edge markers

  • D’Addario EXP coated or Pro Steel strings

  • Medium jumbo frets

  • Hipshot Ultralight tuners or Gotoh sealed Y-style tuners

  • Hipshot A-style fully adjustable bridge

  • Five knob active/passive control setup

  • Choice of Nordstrand, Bartolini, or EMG 3-band pre-amp, 9-volt setup

  • Choice of Nordstrand, Bartolini, or EMG pickups

  • Custom hardwood truss rod cover

  • Custom electronic cavity cover with laser-engraved logo

  • Hand-rubbed oil/poly finish

  • Choice of inset or conventional Dunlop strap locks
